PROGRAM UPDATES

• HUB PROGRAM

Hub program features learners that have been identified from our grass roots program. Learners have the opportunity to access our holiday programs, access to our coaches on a one-on-one basis and participate in district and provincial tournaments and leagues.

Our Hub teams are regularly fixtured in the WPCA structures. Our players have enjoyed the experiences of participating in our winter program at Bishops Diocesan College indoor centre.

Over 50 learners benefit from and experience of well-coordinated activities that is much aligned to our social impact.

Our Hub program enjoyed the support of new partners like Gill Shampoo, EXL and Pura

• BURSARY PROGRAM

One of our most successful stories and “alma mater’ Mika- eel Prince, graduated from SACS in 2022. However, it has been the journey of his cricket that has been well documented recently on ETV. Mika-eel recently represented the SA U19 team at the CSA T20 Competition. We continue to monitor his progress.

• 2023 LEAGUE SEASON

Post covid, we have seen a steady revival of our cricket program, resulting in 29 teams participating this year’s league. Excellent effort from our schools and teachers. The league is consistent engagement of our youth and provides the platform for kids to express themselves.
